In addition to being a crucial habitat for the lesser florican, it serves as one of the largest roosting grounds for migratory harriers (four species). The congregations of harriers during the late evening hours constitute a primary attraction of the park, particularly during the winter months. The park is also a haven for Indian grey wolves, striped hyenas, and jungle cats, making it a rich biodiversity and true hotspot for visitors.

From Bhavnagar, one can hire a taxi, use local transportation, or drive your vehicle to reach the park. The park is approximately 54 km from Bhavnagar city, and the journey takes about one hour, depending on the mode of transportation. Moreover, the park is 140 km from Ahmedabad and 160 km from Rajkot.
